How long until I receive my order?

COVID UPDATE: Current production time is 5-7 business days! This does NOT include shipping time. We are working to get back to our speedy turn around time, but between sourcing and staffing issues, we have had some major delays.  Please reach out to us before purchasing, if you need something in a hurry! We’re shipping from Massachusetts via USPS, and in some cases UPS. Standard shipping throughout North America can take anywhere from 1 to 11 business days, but is typically on the low end of that. We produce and ship every order within 48 hours, Monday to Friday. Once your  tships we’ll send you an email with tracking information.

How do I setup my file?

You’ll get best results with big files, over 1000px wide or tall. Use high contrast images like a logo, text, or icon. Photos of an illustration might work, but you’ll want to photograph them or scan them in so that the whites are bright and the blacks are super dark.

Minimum 1000px, high contrast, dark images please.

Our uploader accepts JPG, PNG, GIF, and SVG files, and any whitespace surrounding your graphic is automatically removed. Our editor shows a preview of your converted image. If the preview has weird curves and corners, it's likely too small of a file—try uploading a larger version of the graphic. If your preview image is not showing up at all, you may need to increase the contrast of your graphic—think light background, dark graphic.

How do I choose the size of my stamp?

Once your file is uploaded, any surrounding whitespace is automatically stripped away. The dimensions shown above and on the right side of your graphic reflect the size of imprint, in inches, your stamp will make. You can adjust the size by entering a number into the text fields in our editor, or by dragging the slider left or right. We will automatically choose a size of wood block that suits your stamp’s imprint size.

See your graphic on the left, and play with sizing in the editor on the right.

Does my stamp have a wooden handle on it?

You get to choose! In our editor you’ll see a switch next to the words Wood Handle. Some folks love a wood handle on their stamp block, while others prefer the simplicity of a stamp block without a handle. There is no right or wrong answer here, only preference. The price remains the same, whichever you choose.

Stamp with or without a handle, and a banana.

What's the difference between dye ink and pigment ink?

Dye ink has a more watery consistency. It is acid-free quick-drying archival ink. Smear resistant, but not waterproof. Dries matte and flat on the paper. May bleed on highly porous surfaces.

Pigment ink is thicker, richer and more vibrant than dye ink. It dries on top of the paper giving a slightly raised and subtle gloss to the impression.

How does the uploader work?

Okay, it's transparency time. Here it goes: our image uploader accepts your file and saves it securely and privately to Shopify’s servers. That image is then converted into a vector in your browser. When you click the Add to Cart button, that vector file is then saved alongside the raster image, and the file’s location is attached to the item in your cart. The location of your raster and vector files is never shared outside of our production team. More info about our privacy policy can be found here, and Shopify’s rock solid privacy policy can be found here.

Do you own my image after I upload it?

Nope, we don't own anything! (That's a half-truth—Cecil owns a small island called Stamponia.) Here's the scoop: by uploading an image, you are not handing over any ownership rights. That said, by purchasing a stamp you are giving us the right to make however many stamps you've ordered out of that image—y’know, so we can fulfill your order.

One last thing: we assume that you have full rights to any image you upload. You assume all liability by purchasing and using your stamp. (Read: no mouse ears please, unless your name is Walt.)
